Our Move to Monthly Curated Drops


At The Brand Shot, everything we create is rooted in intention, quality, and imagery that actually feels elevated—not rushed, not generic, and never “just stock.”

What is changing is how often new collections are released.


Starting this month, The Brand Shot will be releasing one larger, thoughtfully curated image set on the first Monday of every month, rather than smaller weekly drops.

Behind the scenes, I balance running The Brand Shot with working as a CNA, often on 12-hour shifts. While weekly releases worked for a season, they aren’t sustainable long-term alongside real life and real work.


And sustainability matters—especially when quality is non-negotiable.


Moving to a monthly release schedule allows me to protect both the creative process and the standard you expect from this membership.



Quality Over Frequency


This change allows for:


  • More intentional curation and cohesive collections

  • Stronger editorial direction and visual storytelling

  • Better composition, lighting, and usability across platforms

  • Less rushing—and higher creative standards


Instead of releasing more often, this shift lets me create better work, consistently.

Hi, I’m Krista —
the founder and creative behind The Brand Shot.

As a designer I was always searching for moody, cinematic shots for client work and templates. I wanted visuals that felt real: raw lighting, texture, story. But everywhere I looked it was beige mugs and staged smiles.

 

Stock was safe. Too safe.

With no budget for huge shoots, I experimented. AI became the tool to create the look I’d always chased. Suddenly my wish list of visuals started to take shape. What began as a fix for my own work turned into something bigger — a growing library for creatives who want something different.
