Hi, I’m Krista — and The Brand Shot started because I couldn’t find what I needed.
As a designer, I was always searching for moody, cinematic shots to use in my website templates and client projects. I wanted images that felt messy, raw, undone — visuals with grit and emotion. But every time I looked, all I found were staged smiles, beige backgrounds, and perfectly folded props. Stock was safe. Too safe.
I didn’t have a big budget for styled shoots, so I experimented. That’s when I discovered AI could create the “look” I’d been chasing. Suddenly, the archive I always wished existed started to take shape. What began as a fix for my own projects turned into an obsession — and now into a growing library for other designers who crave something different.
The Brand Shot is for anyone tired of stock that looks like stock. It’s for the creatives who want imagery that feels alive. I built this for us.
